TROLLING over at Game Rankings!

A couple people can screw up the whole thing

Was visitng GameRankings.com to see if there were any new galciv 2 reviews.

while there i saw that the user voting was only 8.4. you can see that over on the right side of the page.

8.4? that seemed a bit low. so i looked at the votes. a few people trashed it with 1s. that's not being fair.that's just being malicious. even if galciv isn't your type of game, a 1? that's ridiculous.

the problem with a 1 is that it takes a dozen people giving it a 10 to bring the game back up to a 9. and so far, there's only 14 people voting total.

i don't know about you but given all the hard work i've seen stardock give and how great a game galciv 2 is, it makes me mad to think a couple trolls being able to sabotage the rating.

i say we go over there and rate galciv 2 to counter balance it.

It is amazing the power of trolls. I followed your link. 2 people gave it a 1. Disgusting.That's not opinion, that's abuse.

If you get enough votes, it will cancel them out. But you have to get 20 people to give it a 10 to just get it to a 9. And i agree this game is a 9.5 or better easy which means 40 people would have to vote.

Everyone let's vote!

Trolls don't know how to read very well so they probably thought GC2 was a RTS or FPS.

The good thing about a turn base game is that you can pause to go fight with the trolls if you really want to.

Trolls don't like having to think logically because it's not in their nature so how would you expect them to rate a game that requires actual thinking and reading?

But remember this: "If you are on a journey, and you stop to kick and every barking dog..you won't get very far."
